Tailwheel Undercarriage

October 2004 & Tuesday, 2 November 2004

Congratulations to Andrew Wilson for completing the tailwheel and aerobatic endorsement. Andrew travelled from Ballarat Victoria where he is training towards his CPL. Andrew spent a week in Camden learning how to master the tailwheel. Andrew gain a wealth of experience and realised the how much stronger a pilot he is now.

Well Done!! We hope to see back again

Congratulations to Esam Shetaiwi for completing his tailwheel endorsement. Esam travelled al the way from Saudi Arabia to fly with us. Esam is looking at getting a job flying a Maule in Saudi for the birds and wild life conservation. We hope you enjoy flying the Maule back in Saudi. Well Done!!!

Commercial Pilot Licence

Congratulations Loche Craig for completing his CPL. Loche lives in Canberra and when he wasn't working he would travel up and spend a couple of days out of week or weekend to complete his training. At times the trips up would be a little frustrating due weather but he finally got a good week in and completed his NVFR and CPL. Loche completed his CPL test in the Cessna 180 enjoying the challenge of one of the harder tail wheels. Well Done!!! We wish you all the best in the future.

 

 

First Solo

Congratulations to Andy Faber, First Solo in WKM on the 25th of October. Andy is from Germany and has moved to Australia. When Andy isn't at work he comes out to fly as frequently as possible. On perfect spring day Jim jumped out and completed a very nice first solo circuit. Well Done!!! Keep the hard work up.

Congratulations to Jamie Gordon, First Solo in MWY on the of October. Jamie had to wait a little longer than planned due to the new CASA licence process system and a trip to Vietnam. Fresh back from his overseas trip and ready to get backing into the hot seat Jamie mad it look easy, it was like he hadn't any time off. Jamie first solo was completed with a great landing to finish. Well Done!!! Next step PPL.
